Salary: £460 - £650 per week

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers. You will deliver pre-set work, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged and on task throughout the lesson. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education professionals seeking flexible opportunities.

Responsibilities:
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and ensure students understand the tasks set by the class teacher.
• Maintain effective classroom management and uphold school behaviour policies.
• Support students in completing their work and encourage active participation.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student progress and behaviour.
• Ensure a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment at all times.
• Adapt confidently to different subjects and year groups as required.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour confidently and professionally.
• Flexible, reliable, and adaptable approach to work.
• A genuine interest in supporting students’ learning and development.
