Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Help students develop strong reading, writing, and communication skills while building confidence in expressing ideas effectively!
GSL Education are searching for a passionate English Teacher to join a school in Sheffield (S2, S3), delivering engaging lessons that inspire a love of literature and language.
In this role as English Teacher, you will plan and deliver structured English lessons, supporting learners in developing comprehension, analytical, and creative writing skills within a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Main Duties of English Teacher:
- Deliver well-planned English lessons aligned with curriculum requirements
- Encourage reading, writing, and spoken communication development
- Support students in analysing texts and expressing ideas confidently
- Maintain strong classroom management and positive learning behaviour
- Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching English in an educational setting
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one)
