Job Title: Pastoral Managers
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Play a vital role in supporting students’ wellbeing, attendance, and personal development within a positive school community!
GSL Education are searching for committed Pastoral Managers to work in schools across Sheffield (S2, S3), helping pupils overcome barriers and achieve success both academically and personally.
In this role, as Pastoral Manager you will provide consistent pastoral care, working closely with staff and families to promote positive behaviour, strong attendance, and emotional resilience.
Main Duties of Pastoral Manager:
- Monitor and support pupil attendance, behaviour, and welfare
- Provide mentoring and targeted pastoral interventions
- Build positive relationships with students and families
- Liaise with external agencies where required
- Maintain accurate records in line with safeguarding policies
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in a pastoral, mentoring, or student support role
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Calm, empathetic, and resilient approach
- Clear understanding of safeguarding and inclusion
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one)
