Learning Support Assistant – Graduate Role

Location: Birmingham (B12)
Salary: £90 – £100 per day
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Start: Immediate

A fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate looking to build a career in Criminal Justice, Youth Work or Educational Psychology within a specialist SEMH provision in Birmingham (B12).

This role focuses on restorative practices, relationship building, and supporting students with social, emotional and mental health needs.

The Role

  • Support students with SEMH needs

  • Apply restorative practices

  • Build positive, trusting relationships

  • Promote emotional regulation and engagement

We are looking for graduates who are empathetic, resilient and passionate about supporting young people facing barriers to mainstream education.

Requirements

  • Graduate status preferred

  • Experience supporting young people (desirable)

  • Enhanced DBS on Update Service (or willingness to apply)
