Job Title: Sports Coaches
Location: Wakefield (WF4)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time
Motivate young people to stay active, build teamwork skills, and develop confidence through structured and engaging physical activities!
GSL Education are searching for enthusiastic Sports Coaches to work in schools across Wakefield, serving the WF4 area. The Sports Coaches will deliver high-energy sessions, support PE lessons, and encourage pupils to take part in sport with commitment and enjoyment.
Main Duties of Sports Coaches:
- Lead and support a range of sports and physical education activities.
- Promote teamwork, discipline, and positive participation.
- Assist teaching staff during PE lessons and extracurricular clubs.
- Maintain a safe environment in line with health and safety guidelines.
- Encourage students of all abilities to engage and develop skills.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience coaching sport or working with young people.
- Relevant sports coaching qualification is desirable.
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Energetic, reliable, and positive approach.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one).
