Job Title: PE Support
Location: Wakefield (WF4)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are looking for an enthusiastic PE Support staff member to work with a school in Wakefield (WF4), assisting in delivering engaging sports and physical activities.

As Physical Education (PE) Support, you will work closely with the PE Teacher to help organise lessons, set up equipment, and support students during activities, ensuring a safe and positive environment where all learners can take part.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering PE lessons and practical activities.
  • Support students during sports sessions, encouraging teamwork and participation.
  • Help set up and store sports equipment safely.
  • Promote positive behaviour and ensure health and safety guidelines are followed.
  • Support extracurricular sports activities where required.

Requirements of PE Support:

  • Previous experience working in a school or sports setting is desirable.
  • A strong interest in sport, fitness, and student wellbeing.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive and positive attitude.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one).
