Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Wakefield (WF4)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are delighted to recruit a dedicated SEN Teacher for a school in the WF4 area of Wakefield.

As a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher, you will plan and deliver tailored lessons that meet individual learning needs while promoting confidence, independence, and engagement in learning.

Key Duties:

  • Deliver personalised teaching for pupils with SEN in line with curriculum guidance.
  • Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide supportive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with SENCOs, staff, and external professionals.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a SEN Teacher in a school or specialist setting.
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
