Job Title: RE Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time 

Do you enjoy teaching Religious Education and helping students develop respect, understanding, and awareness of different beliefs and cultures?

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated RE Teacher to work with schools across Doncaster, including the DN2 and DN6 areas, delivering engaging lessons that encourage thoughtful discussion and learning.

As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will deliver well-structured lessons exploring world religions, ethics, and moral themes, helping students develop critical thinking skills while creating a respectful and inclusive classroom environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality RE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Teach topics covering major world religions, values, and ethical issues.
  • Encourage open discussion and respectful debate.
  • Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as an RE Teacher in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
