About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide individualised support to students with additional learning needs. This role is vital in helping students access the curriculum, develop independence, and engage fully in school life.
Responsibilities:
• Support teachers in delivering lessons tailored to individual student needs.
• Assist students with special educational needs in academic and social activities.
• Implement personalised learning plans to encourage growth and independence.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students.
• Monitor and record student progress, behaviour, and achievements.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
• Encourage positive social interaction and help develop communication skills.
Qualifications:
• Experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting is preferred.
• Understanding of SEN needs, strategies, and interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to the varied needs of students.
• Compassionate, patient, and committed to student development.
