Job Title: SEMH Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5)
Salary: Up to £220 Per day
Contract Type: Full time, long-term / Day-to-day

About the Role:
As a SEMH Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons that meet the specific needs of your students, promoting positive behaviour, academic progress, and emotional growth. You will support students’ holistic development while maintaining a structured and safe learning environment.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students’ SEMH needs.
- Support students’ emotional, social, and academic development.
- Create a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to implement personalised strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of lessons, interventions, and student outcomes.
- Encourage independence, motivation, and positive behaviour among learners.

Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
- Experience supporting students with SEMH or similar needs is highly desirable.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to plan differentiated lessons and adapt teaching to individual needs.
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to student well-being and development.
