About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of teaching staff, maintaining classroom order, and supporting students to follow lesson plans. This role ensures continuity of learning while providing a structured and productive environment for all pupils.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise classes in accordance with lesson plans provided by teaching staff.
• Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment.
• Support students in completing assigned work and engaging with learning.
• Monitor and manage student behaviour, implementing school policies.
• Report on student progress, behaviour, and lesson outcomes to teaching staff.
• Adapt to different year groups and subjects as required.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure effective learning continuity.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a classroom or school support role is preferred.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate, engage, and support students effectively.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to different classes and subjects.
• Organised, reliable, and professional in all interactions.
