Job Title: Maths Teacher 
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £160 – £220 per day, depending on experience
Contract Type: Long-term supply
Start Date: Immediate

Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher looking for a rewarding long-term opportunity? We are seeking an enthusiastic professional to join a secondary school in Sheffield, supporting students to achieve their full potential in Maths.

About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, inspiring students to develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and a love for mathematics. You will play a key role in helping students succeed academically while fostering an encouraging and motivating classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Teach a variety of Maths topics, including algebra, geometry, statistics, and problem-solving

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support improvement

  • Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages engagement

  • Prepare students effectively for examinations and internal assessments

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources and share best practice

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level

  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Mathematics

  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills

  • Ability to motivate students and support their progress

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
