Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Rotherham (S65, S66)
Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are looking for a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to work with schools across Rotherham, including the S65 and S66 areas, ensuring lessons run smoothly in the absence of the class teacher.
As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will supervise whole classes, deliver pre-set work, and maintain a positive and focused learning environment, helping students stay on task and engaged.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes during teacher absences using pre-planned lesson materials.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Ensure students complete the work set and remain engaged.
- Provide clear instructions and support where needed.
- Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
Requirements of Cover Supervisor:
- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Confidence leading a class independently.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one).
