Job Title: History Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Help students make sense of the past and understand how it shapes the present through engaging and well-structured lessons!
GSL Education are looking to appoint a committed History Teacher to work in Sheffield, serving the S35 area. The History Teacher will deliver high-quality lessons that develop critical thinking, source analysis, and confident written responses across key stages.
Responsibilities of History Teacher:
- Plan and deliver history lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Encourage enquiry, debate, and independent research.
- Support students of all abilities through differentiated teaching.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic achievement.
- Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Experience teaching history in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
