GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Art Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Medway.

This mixed secondary school and sixth form serves a diverse community of learners aged 11 to 18. The school is on a strong improvement journey, with leadership focused on raising standards, strengthening teaching, and nurturing the overall wellbeing and development of every student. While some curriculum areas are already well established, others are undergoing further refinement to enhance consistency and impact. Your Mission as an Art Teacher
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Art lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Encourage students to explore different media, techniques, and artistic styles
- Plan, prepare, and assess work in line with school expectations
- Support students in building creative confidence and developing technical skills
- Contribute to a supportive and collaborative department focused on high‑quality teaching and learning
- Inspire a lasting appreciation for creativity, culture, and the arts
What We’re Looking in Art Teacher
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- UK classroom teaching experience
- Strong subject knowledge and confidence teaching KS3–KS4 Art
- Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
- A commitment to student progress, wellbeing, and creative development
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
