Spanish Teacher
Location: Gravesend, Kent
Salary: £120 – £250 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: March 2026
Contract Type: Part-time, Long-term (Working Monday and Tuesday)

If so, GSL Education Kent are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a committed Spanish Teacher to join a prestigious school in Gravesend from March 2026. This Teacher of Spanish role is available on a part-time, long-term basis, with teaching scheduled on Monday and Tuesday each week. As a Spanish Teacher, you’ll be expected to:
- Plan and deliver high-quality Spanish lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teach Spanish across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, ensuring lessons are engaging and academically challenging.
- Prepare lesson resources, mark work, and assess student progress effectively.
- Promote excellent classroom behaviour and maintain high expectations for all learners.
- Track student attainment and provide constructive feedback to support progress.
- Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives.
- Adhere to safeguarding, curriculum, and assessment policies at all times.
To be considered for the Spanish Teacher role, you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification in the UK.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Spanish, Modern Foreign Languages, or an education-related field.
- Proven experience teaching Spanish in schools.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach Spanish confidently across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Be available for a part-time commitment in Gravesend.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Meet GSL’s safer recruitment background checks.
