Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time
Support young people in understanding the world’s landscapes, environments, and global challenges through engaging and structured lessons!
GSL Education are recruiting a committed Geography Teacher to work in schools across Doncaster, covering the DN2 and DN6 areas. The Geography Teacher will deliver well-planned lessons that build knowledge of physical and human geography while strengthening analytical and fieldwork skills.
Main Duties of Geography Teacher:
- Plan and deliver high-quality geography lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Develop students’ map reading, data interpretation, and enquiry skills.
- Encourage discussion on environmental sustainability and global development.
- Maintain clear expectations for behaviour and academic progress.
- Assess student learning and provide targeted, constructive feedback.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Experience teaching geography in school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
