Job Title: History Teacher
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time
Are you an enthusiastic History Teacher who can inspire students to explore the past and understand its impact on today’s world?
Schools in Doncaster (DN2, DN6) and GSL Education are seeking a committed History Teacher to deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.
As a History Teacher, you will support students in developing historical knowledge, critical thinking, and analytical skills through a range of topics and source-based learning. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where discussion and independent thinking are encouraged.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-organised history lessons.
- Assess and monitor student progress effectively.
- Encourage source analysis and structured debate.
- Adapt teaching to meet different learning needs.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching History in a school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
