Salary: £100–£130 per day (dependent on experience)

A dynamic and supportive secondary school in Middlesbrough is seeking a confident and motivated Graduate Cover Supervisor to join their team. This Graduate Cover Supervisor role is ideal for graduates considering a career in teaching and looking to gain valuable classroom experience.
The successful Graduate Cover Supervisor will deliver pre-set lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher. You will be responsible for managing classroom behaviour, ensuring pupils remain on task and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities of the Graduate Cover Supervisor:

Delivering pre-planned lessons to secondary pupils.

Managing classroom behaviour effectively.

Ensuring pupils complete set work to a high standard.

Providing feedback to teaching staff following lessons.

Supporting pupils with questions related to the set work.

Upholding school policies and safeguarding procedures.
The Ideal Graduate Cover Supervisor Will:

Hold a degree in any subject.

Be confident leading a classroom independently.

Have strong communication and behaviour management skills.

Be adaptable and proactive.

Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).

Have a fully checkable work history.
