Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S11)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are hiring a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join a school in Sheffield, serving the S11 area. The Geography Teacher will deliver engaging lessons that develop map skills, data interpretation, and a clear understanding of global issues across key stages.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and teach well-structured geography lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Support students in developing enquiry, research, and analytical skills.
  • Encourage discussion around environmental and global challenges.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic progress.
  • Assess student work and provide constructive, targeted feedback.

Requirements of Geography Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Experience teaching geography in school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
