Pay rate: £95-£115 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are searching for a committed Behaviour Support professional to work within schools in Newcastle, helping to create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.
As Behaviour Support, you will work closely with pupils who require additional behavioural guidance, offering consistent support, clear boundaries, and encouragement to help them succeed both academically and socially.
Key responsibilities of Behaviour Support:
- Provide one-to-one and small group behavioural support
- Promote positive conduct and emotional regulation strategies
- Support staff in managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Build trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement
- Record and report progress in line with school policies
Requirements of Behaviour Support:
- Experience supporting children or young people with behavioural need
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practice
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
