About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering lessons according to existing plans, managing classroom behaviour, and supporting students’ learning across various subjects. You will play a vital role in maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring continuity of education during staff absence.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver prepared lessons across a variety of subjects and key stages.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Support students’ engagement, understanding, and progress throughout the school day.
• Follow lesson plans and school procedures to ensure consistency in teaching.
• Provide feedback to permanent teaching staff regarding lesson delivery and student outcomes.
• Adapt to the needs of different classes and learning abilities as required.
Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience preferred.
• Experience in classroom management and delivering lessons across multiple subjects.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities.
• Flexible, adaptable, and confident in stepping into different classrooms at short notice.
