Job Title: Motor Vehicle Tutor
Location: Newcastle
Pay rate: £90 - £115 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Do you enjoy teaching practical skills and helping learners develop expertise in motor vehicle maintenance and repair?
GSL Education are searching for an experienced Motor Vehicle Tutor to work with learners in Newcastle, delivering engaging and practical lessons to students studying at Level 2 and above.
As a Motor Vehicle Tutor, you will plan and deliver lessons that develop both theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills, supporting learners to build confidence and achieve their qualifications in a safe and motivating environment.
Key Duties:
- Deliver well-structured motor vehicle lessons to Level 2 learners.
- Teach practical and theory components, including vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Maintain a safe, organised, and supportive workshop environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality training delivery.
Requirements of Motor Vehicle Tutor:
- Previous experience as a Motor Vehicle Tutor, with Level 2 tutoring experience essential.
- Strong practical knowledge of motor vehicle systems and maintenance.
- Excellent communication and classroom/workshop management skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding, health and safety, and inclusive practice.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for a new one).
