About the Role:
As a Geography Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons that inspire students, develop geographical knowledge, and foster analytical and practical skills. You will manage the classroom effectively, support learning outcomes, and help students achieve their best.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons across key stages.
• Support students’ understanding, knowledge, and skills through differentiated teaching.
• Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment.
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
• Provide feedback to students and liaise with staff to implement tailored learning strategies.
• Adapt lessons and resources to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop teaching materials and share best practices.
Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching experience.
• Experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 3/4 preferred.
• Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students across abilities.
• Creative, adaptable, and confident in delivering engaging lessons.
