Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Salary: £460 – £650 per week

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will manage classes, deliver planned lessons, and maintain a positive learning environment. You will support students’ engagement, behaviour, and academic progress, ensuring smooth continuity of education across different year groups and subjects.

Responsibilities:
• Manage classrooms effectively, ensuring students remain on task and engaged.
• Deliver lesson plans as prepared by teaching staff, adapting where necessary.
• Support students’ learning and behaviour across a range of subjects and abilities.
• Monitor and report on student engagement, progress, and behaviour.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and any incidents in line with school policy.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and support staff to ensure continuity and quality of learning.
• Promote a safe, structured, and positive learning environment at all times.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a classroom or supervisory role is preferred.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage groups of students effectively and maintain discipline.
• Flexible, adaptable, and confident in delivering lessons to various age groups.
• A professional and approachable manner with students and colleagues.
