About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students’ learning and well-being. You will provide guidance, encouragement, and practical assistance in the classroom, helping students access lessons, develop skills, and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with specific learning needs.
• Implement personalised strategies and resources to support individual progress.
• Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioural development.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.
• Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour in students.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment at all times.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar educational support role is preferred.
• Understanding of special educational needs and differentiated teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to the needs of students with diverse learning abilities.
• A compassionate and patient approach to supporting learners.
