About the Role:
As a Maths Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons that engage students, develop numeracy skills, and support progression across the curriculum. You will create a structured and positive classroom environment that encourages participation, curiosity, and academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Maths lessons for students of varying abilities.
- Support students’ understanding, confidence, and progression through differentiated teaching strategies.
- Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share resources, ideas, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behaviour.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
- Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3/4 preferred.
- Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students in learning.
- Creative and adaptable approach to lesson planning and teaching.
