Salary: £460 - £650 per week

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absences, deliver pre-set work, and maintain a focused and orderly classroom environment. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers or experienced education professionals looking to gain valuable classroom experience.

Responsibilities:
• Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring students remain on task with the work provided.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policies, maintaining a calm and productive learning environment.
• Provide clear instructions and support to students to facilitate understanding of set tasks.
• Report back to teaching staff on student progress, behaviour, and completion of work.
• Support the wider school community by contributing to a safe and inclusive environment.
• Adapt confidently to different subjects and year groups as required.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting is desirable.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Confidence in leading a classroom and engaging students in their learning.
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
• A proactive and positive approach to supporting students.
