Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Doncaster (DN2, DN6)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day supply
Support learning and help maintain a positive, structured classroom environment when teachers are absent!
GSL Education are searching for a reliable Cover Supervisor to work in schools across Doncaster (DN2, DN6), helping pupils stay focused and engaged with their learning.
In this role, the Cover Supervisor (CS) will oversee pre-set lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and support students in completing their work in a calm and orderly setting.
Your role will include:
- Supervising classes using work provided by teaching staff
- Encouraging pupils to remain on task and engaged
- Maintaining positive behaviour and classroom structure
- Reporting lesson progress or concerns to relevant staff
- Following school safeguarding and behaviour policies
Requirements of Cover Supervisor:
- Experience working with children or young people
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Confidence in supervising groups of pupils
- A responsible, organised, and adaptable approach
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
