Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Worksop (S81)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time
Are you an enthusiastic Geography Teacher eager to help students understand the world around them?
Schools in Worksop (S81) and GSL Education are seeking an experienced Geography Teacher to deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.
As a Geography Teacher, you will support students in exploring both physical and human geography, developing map skills, critical thinking, and awareness of global issues. You will create a positive learning environment where curiosity and discussion are encouraged.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-organised lessons.
- Assess and monitor student progress effectively.
- Adapt teaching to meet different learning needs.
- Encourage enquiry, discussion, and independent thinking.
- Maintain positive classroom behaviour and expectations.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Geography in a school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
