Job Title: Drama Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are excited to welcome applications for a talented Drama Teacher to work in secondary schools across the S5 and S9 areas of Sheffield.

As a Drama Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop pupils’ acting, improvisation, and stagecraft skills while fostering teamwork and self-expression.

Prime Responsibilities:

  • Deliver dynamic Drama lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  • Encourage creativity, collaboration, and performance skills.
  • Organise rehearsals, performances, and enrichment activities.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Drama Teacher in a secondary setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Passion for the performing arts and student development.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
