Job Title: MFL Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are hiring a motivated MFL Teacher to join schools in Barnsley, covering the S70 and S71 areas. The Modern Foreign Language (MFL) Teacher will deliver engaging language lessons that promote cultural awareness, interaction, and confidence in communication across different abilities and year groups.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality MFL lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Encourage students to practise speaking and listening skills in the target language.
  • Support learners in developing reading and writing abilities.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.

Requirements of MFL Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching a modern foreign language in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Passion for promoting language learning and cultural understanding.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
