Job Title: Behaviour Support/Mentor
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support/Mentor to work in schools across Dinnington (S25), providing targeted support to pupils who require guidance with behaviour, engagement, and emotional wellbeing. You will work closely with students who may face social, emotional, or behavioural challenges, helping them build confidence, resilience, and positive coping strategies.
Key Duties of Behaviour Support/Mentor:
- Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring as a Behaviour Support/Mentor.
- Implement behaviour intervention strategies in line with school policies.
- Support pupils in managing emotions and making positive choices.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and parents.
Requirements for Behaviour Support/Mentor:
- Experience working with children or young people with behavioural or SEMH needs.
- A calm, patient, and consistent approach.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to remain resilient in challenging situations.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
