Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Barnsley (S70, S71)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time

Schools in Barnsley (S70, S71) and GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to deliver engaging and well-structured science lessons.
As a Science Teacher, you will help students build knowledge of scientific concepts, foster practical enquiry, and support learning through experiments, discussion, and problem‑solving. You will create an inclusive classroom where students feel confident exploring science.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver interesting and well-paced science lessons.
- Support students in understanding key scientific ideas and practical work.
- Monitor, assess, and record student progress regularly.
- Maintain positive behaviour and encourage active participation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support learning outcomes.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Science in a school setting.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
