Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are delighted to recruit a skilled Science Teacher to support schools across the S5 and S9 areas of Sheffield.

As a Science Teacher, you will deliver high-quality science lessons that develop pupils’ understanding of biology, chemistry, and physics while encouraging critical thinking and enquiry skills.

Key Duties:

  • Plan and deliver science lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Support pupils’ understanding through practical and theoretical teaching.
  • Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Support departmental and school-wide science initiatives.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working as a Science Teacher in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
