Job Title: Maths Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you passionate about helping pupils build confidence and strong problem-solving skills through mathematics?
GSL Education are seeking an experienced Maths Teacher to work in schools across Sheffield (S5, S9), delivering engaging and structured lessons that develop pupils’ numerical and analytical abilities.
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons covering key mathematical topics, supporting pupils of varying abilities to achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver effective maths lessons as a Maths Teacher.
- Support pupils in developing reasoning, problem-solving, and calculation skills.
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching maths in a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
- A patient, engaging, and supportive teaching approach.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
