Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Help students build confidence in reading, writing, and communication through engaging and well-structured English lessons!
GSL Education are searching a passionate English Teacher to join schools in Sheffield, covering the S5 and S9 areas. The English Teacher will deliver lessons that develop literacy skills, critical analysis, and a love of language across different year groups and abilities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver English lessons in line with the curriculum.
- Support students in improving reading comprehension and written expression.
- Encourage discussion, interpretation, and analytical thinking.
- Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment.
- Assess progress and provide clear, constructive feedback as English Teacher.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Experience teaching English in a school setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
