Job Title: Behaviour Support Staff
Location: Sheffield (S5, S9)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Help pupils overcome barriers to learning by providing consistent guidance, encouragement, and positive behaviour support!
GSL Education are hiring motivated Behaviour Support Staff to work within schools in Sheffield (S5, S9), supporting learners who require additional emotional and behavioural guidance during the school day.
In this role, you will work closely with pupils to promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement with learning, helping to create a calm and structured classroom environment.
Responsibilities of Behaviour Support Staff:
- Provide one-to-one and small group behaviour support
- Support the implementation of behaviour management strategies
- Encourage positive interaction and engagement in lessons
- Help pupils develop social and emotional skills
- Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral staff
Requirements of Behaviour Support Staff:
- Experience supporting children or young people with behavioural needs
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- A patient, consistent, and supportive approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
