Job Title: RE Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Are you a thoughtful and inspiring RE Teacher looking to guide students in exploring different beliefs and values?

Schools in Sheffield (S2, S3) and GSL Education are looking for a dedicated RE Teacher to deliver engaging and well-planned lessons.

As a Religious Education (RE) Teacher, you will encourage respectful discussion, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of world religions and ethical issues. You will create a supportive classroom environment where students feel confident sharing their perspectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured RE lessons.
  • Assess, monitor, and record student progress regularly.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Promote respectful discussion and positive classroom behaviour.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and wider school activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Religious Education within a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
