Job Title: MFL Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Schools in Sheffield (S2, S3) are GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic MFL Teacher to deliver high-quality language lessons and promote a love for different cultures and communication.

As a Modern Foreign Language (MFL) Teacher, you will create engaging and well-structured lessons that build students’ confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. You will encourage curiosity about the wider world and support learners in developing practical language skills that extend beyond the classroom.

Prime Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-paced lessons that meet a range of learning needs and abilities.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel confident to participate in speaking and discussion activities.
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress regularly, providing clear feedback to support improvement.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to support learners who require additional guidance or challenge.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and take part in wider school activities where appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching modern foreign languages within a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
