Job Title: Behaviour and Pastoral Lead
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Payrate: £120+ per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time
Are you an experienced pastoral professional with a passion for improving behaviour, wellbeing, and whole-school culture?
GSL Education are hiring a passionate Behaviour and Pastoral Lead to work in a school based in Dinnington (S25), driving positive behaviour strategies and supporting pupils to achieve both academically and personally.
As a Behaviour and Pastoral Lead, you will play a key role in shaping behaviour policy, supporting staff with consistent approaches, and working closely with pupils who require additional guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on behaviour management strategies and pastoral systems across the school.
- Support pupils with behavioural, emotional, or attendance concerns.
- Work collaboratively with SLT, teaching staff, parents, and external agencies.
- Monitor behaviour data and implement targeted interventions as a Behaviour and Pastoral Lead.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to pupils to promote resilience and positive choices.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a pastoral, behaviour, or safeguarding role within a school setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A calm, consistent, and solution-focused approach.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and inclusion practices.
- An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
