Payrate:
£160+ per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time

GSL Education are searching for a committed SEMH Class Teacher to join a supportive setting in Dinnington (S25), delivering tailored education to pupils who benefit from a structured and nurturing approach.

In this role, the Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Class Teacher will plan and deliver differentiated lessons that meet individual needs, while promoting emotional regulation, resilience, and positive behaviour within a calm and consistent environment.

Core responsibilities of SEMH Class Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver personalised lessons to meet a range of SEMH needs
  • Create a structured and supportive classroom environment
  • Implement behaviour strategies and emotional regulation techniques
  • Monitor progress and adapt teaching approaches accordingly
  • Work collaboratively with support staff, families, and external professionals

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience working with pupils with SEMH or additional needs
  • Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
  • Patient, resilient, and empathetic approach
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
