Job Title: Nurture and Behaviour support practitioner
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Payrate: £110+ per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time

GSL Education are hiring dedicated Nurture and Behaviour support practitioner for a school in the S25 area of Dinnington.

As a Nurture and Behaviour support practitioner, you will work closely with pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural guidance, delivering targeted interventions and promoting positive engagement with learning.

Prime Responsibilities:

  • Provide nurture-based support to pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
  • Implement behaviour plans and restorative approaches.
  • Support pupils in developing resilience and self-regulation skills.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of progress and interventions.

Requirements of Nurture and Behaviour Support practitioners:

  • Previous experience in a similar pastoral or behaviour-focused role.
  • Strong communication and de-escalation skills.
  • Patient, empathetic, and consistent approach.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
