Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistants
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time
Support pupils with special educational needs and help them engage confidently in their learning!
GSL Education are delighted to recruit compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a school in the Dinnington (S25) area.
As Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants (SEN TA), you will provide classroom and individual support to pupils with additional learning, emotional, or behavioural needs, helping them access education in a positive and nurturing environment.
Prime Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with SEN during lessons and structured activities.
- Assist in implementing individual education plans and learning strategies.
- Encourage confidence, independence, and positive behaviour.
- Work closely with teachers and SENCO staff.
- Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements:
- Experience working as SEN Teaching Assistants or in a similar support role.
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- Understanding of SEN support strategies is desirable.
- Commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
