Job Title: SEMH Teacher
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time 

Support learners with social, emotional, and mental health needs to help them engage positively with education and build confidence in their learning journey!

GSL Education are searching a dedicated Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Teacher to work within a school in Dinnington (S25), delivering tailored teaching and support to pupils who require a more personalised approach to learning.

In this role, the SEMH Teacher will plan and deliver differentiated lessons that support both academic progress and emotional wellbeing, helping learners develop resilience, confidence, and positive learning habits within a structured environment.

Prime responsibilities of SEMH Teacher:

  • Deliver lessons adapted to meet SEMH learning needs
  • Support pupils in managing emotions and improving classroom engagement
  • Promote positive behaviour and constructive interaction
  • Monitor progress and adjust teaching approaches where required
  • Work collaboratively with pastoral and support staff

What we are looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience working with pupils with SEMH or additional needs
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Patient, empathetic, and consistent teaching approach
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
