Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Dinnington (S25)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time
Support and inspire students with additional needs by delivering tailored learning experiences in a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment!
GSL Education are seeking a compassionate and skilled SEN Teacher to join schools in Dinnington, covering the S25 area. The Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher will plan and deliver lessons that are adapted to meet individual learning, emotional, and developmental needs of students with special educational needs.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the needs of SEN learners.
- Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.
- Work closely with support staff, parents, and external professionals.
- Maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess progress and provide feedback to support learning targets.
Requirements of SEN Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching or working with students with special educational needs.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Patient, empathetic, and adaptable teaching approach.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
