About the Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver lessons in line with existing plans, manage classroom behaviour, and provide consistent support to students. You will help maintain a positive learning environment and ensure students continue to make progress during staff absences.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver planned lessons across various subjects and key stages.
• Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
• Support students’ engagement, learning, and progress.
• Follow existing lesson plans and school procedures to ensure consistency.
• Provide feedback to permanent teaching staff on student performance and lesson delivery.
• Adapt quickly to different classes, subjects, and learning needs.
Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience preferred.
• Experience in classroom management and delivering lessons effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students across a range of abilities.
• Flexible, adaptable, and confident in teaching at short notice.
