Salary: £460 – £650 per week

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes, following lesson plans, and supporting students’ learning in line with the curriculum. You will maintain a safe and structured classroom environment and ensure that students remain engaged and on task during the absence of their regular teacher.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise classes and ensure a positive learning environment
• Deliver lessons according to prepared plans and guidance from teaching staff
• Manage student behaviour effectively and maintain classroom discipline
• Support students’ engagement and learning across various subjects
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress and lesson delivery
• Adapt quickly to different classes and year groups as required
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and participation
Qualifications:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant classroom experience
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible, adaptable, and confident in supervising classes at short notice
