About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and provide targeted assistance to students who require additional guidance. You will work both within the classroom and in small group settings, helping to raise attainment, build confidence, and encourage positive learning behaviours.
Responsibilities:
• Support the class teacher in delivering structured and engaging lessons.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students who require additional help.
• Assist in implementing tailored learning strategies and interventions.
• Promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe learning environment.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff.
• Help prepare classroom resources and maintain an organised learning space.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational setting is desirable.
• A strong understanding of supporting students with diverse learning needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• A proactive, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting learning.
