Job Title: Science Teacher
Location: Sheffield (S2, S3)
Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Are you passionate about inspiring curiosity and helping pupils develop a strong understanding of scientific concepts?

GSL Education are looking for a skilled Science Teacher to work in schools across Sheffield (S2, S3), delivering engaging lessons that encourage enquiry, experimentation, and critical thinking.

As a Science Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality science lessons across biology, chemistry, and physics, supporting pupils to develop practical and theoretical understanding of science.

Prime Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging science lessons as a Science Teacher.
  • Support pupils in developing analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills
  • Maintain a positive, safe, and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching science in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
  • An enthusiastic, patient, and motivating teaching approach.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
